Huawei  Hongmeng os is the new os Huawei are working on it  since 2012 and this news is coming after the ban from USA  many companies of  USA are  not likely to work with  Huawei this was the main reason for Huawei to work  more progressively on their os and also after google raised their hand's up and stating that they are  also not going to work with Huawei.
So the google was the main source of OS as in they have Android after the google statement Huawei has left with no option rather to have their own operating system i.e Hongmeng os
